It's no secret that San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is a huge wrestling fan.
So it wasn't exactly a surprise that he was in attendance for night one of Wrestlemania, which drew a crowd of 72,543.
Given the venue, the response from that crowd to Kittle being shown on the big screen was also predictable.
Kittle is very familiar with Lincoln Financial Field, having played there in the NFC Championship Game at the end of the 2022 season and made four catches for 68 yards in Week 13 last season as the Niners avenged that defeat with a 42-19 blowout of the Philadelphia Eagles.
So, naturally, Kittle did not receive a warm response at the home of one of the 49ers' biggest rivals in the NFC.

And, showman that he is, Kittle was happy to play the role of heel and soak up the boos.
The 49ers will not face the Eagles during the 2024 regular season, so Kittle won't be back at the Linc unless San Francisco meets Philadelphia on the road in next season's playoffs.
As such, expect the Philadelphia fans to make the most of the opportunity to boo Kittle again on Sunday's second and final night of Wrestlemania.
