The future remains uncertain for Manuel Ugarte at Paris Saint-Germain as the midfielder finds his name in the rumor mill. After a terrific start to his first season, the Uruguayan’s performance tailed off, leading to him mostly coming off the bench.

AC Milan and Juventus have their sights set on the Uruguayan player, according to reports. Both Serie A clubs are keen on bringing him in to provide more playing time and opportunities on the pitch. However, they’re not alone.

Last summer, Chelsea were vying with PSG for Ugarte when he was still a Sporting Lisbon player. Nonetheless, it appears the Premier League club is revisiting their interest in the 23-year-old.

According to journalist Graeme Bailey, Ugarte is on Chelsea’s radar as a potential replacement for Conor Gallagher.

A recent report from L’Equipe revealed that the midfielder potentially leaving this summer isn’t a taboo subject within the club. He simply doesn’t fit the kind of player Enrique is seeking for the No. 6 position.

While his exit is on the table, it’s not without conditions or without considering the right price.
